Mindful Outdoor Experience: Forest Bathing with Beth Reel In-Person
POSTPONED UNTIL FALL (new date TBD)
Join us on a restorative, mindful walk along the Hockanum River Trail as we awaken our senses, relax, and connect with nature. The practice of Forest Bathing has been shown to reduce stress, improve concentration and immunity, and increase feelings of well-being and happiness. Forest bathing is part of a growing global movement that can offset the stress brought on by living in the modern world. This meditative walk through the woods with Beth Reel, a Kripalu School of Mindful Outdoor Leadership trained guide and Association of Nature and Forest Therapy certified guide, at the Hockanum River Trail is designed to facilitate deep connection with nature.
This gentle walk is appropriate for all abilities. Participants should meet at the EHPL Parking Lot wearing comfortable walking shoes and may want bug repellent.
