Meet the Artist: Georges Annan Kingsley Online
Celebrate Black History Month with this spotlight on a local artist! Georges Annan Kingsley, Ivory Coast artist and author, was born in Ghana and educated in the Ivory Coast and in Paris, France, and now resides in Hartford. Georges has worked as an art teacher and community organizer and is the Outreach Specialist at the East Hartford Public Library. Georges will discuss his life and work as a precursor to an exhibit of his work at the library (originally scheduled for January 2021, postponed until the library is fully open to the public). Best suited for teens and adults. Registration is required.
